The June meeting of the North Dallas RC Club occurred on June 20, 2018 at the Frisco Public Library.
Patrick McNamara acting for Club President Greg Pulcini called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
A motion was made, and seconded, to approve the May meeting minutes as published. Approval
passed unanimously, by voice vote.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT — Greg Pulcini:
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT — Patrick McNamara:
We have received a placard from the AMA with the current safety rules. These will be posted at the field
as soon as possible.
We have lost our Gold Leader Club status with the AMA. We were not able to schedule the Boy Scouts
training events community service events required to maintain this status was the primary reason.
The Warbirds Over Texas event was successful.
SECRETARY’S REPORT — Billy Slater:
Dale O’daniel has donated a 10×10 canopy to the club. It is stored in one of the storage containers and is
for general use.
TREASURER’S REPORT — Dave Cotton:
Dave presented some detail of expenses from previous months.
Dave present the present financial status. A motion was made, and seconded, to approve the Financial
report as presented. Approval passed unanimously, by voice vote.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT – Bruce Lakatos:
Present membership is 152.
FIELD REPORT — Rodney Mcentire:
Rodney Mcentire not present.
Dale O’daniel reported mowing is planned for this Friday morning.
SAFETY REPORT — Gerry Bishop:
Not Present. No incidents have been reported.
Any possible damage to the electric fence please report to Art Wagner.

Billy Slater has taken a new student.
RAFFLE –Olga Lawson-Andrews :
The quarterly prize of a VTOL X-Vert by Horizon was awarded.
CD REPORTS and EVENTS:
The NDRCC Float Fly will be held in late July.

SHOW AND TELL:
A video from WWII was shown detailing how to assemble a P-47 shipped in a crate to Europe. No craines
or other heavy lifting equipment was used. However up to 50 soldiers and the shipping crate were
required. Truly the first ARF.
