Membership in the North Dallas RC Club (NDRCC) is open to everybody, but you must be an active member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) before you can fly.
The AMA is the official national body for model aviation in the United States. The AMA Safety Code sets the standard for model aircraft operation and forms the cornerstone of the NDRCC safety regulations. The AMA also provides liability, accident, and loss insurance to individual members and clubs. You can obtain further information from the AMA website (http://www.modelaircraft.org) or by calling 765-287-1256.
Please be aware that you must display current NDRCC membership identification in a frequency slot anytime you fly. Absolutely no substitutions are allowed, not even expired membership identification. Failure to follow this rule can lead to permanent loss of flying privileges.
