Denton County Shelter in Place Order and the Use of Eagle Field

On March 24th, Denton County issued a “Shelter in Place” order, joining several other counties in North Texas, to help combat the Coronavirus.  To comply with the order, we are suspending field maintenance operations and canceling any and all club activities that are scheduled to occur while this order is in place.  We recommend members read the order and comply with its requirements along with the requirements of each member’s home city and county.  With that in mind, we strongly recommend members comply with the order and refrain from using the field while the order is in place.  However, any member that chooses to utilize the field is advised to follow current CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COIVD-19 and is cautioned that they may be in violation of these “Shelter in Place” order.

A link to the order can be found at:

Along with these orders, the club continues to monitor the current water level at Lake Lewisville.  Should lake levels rise to the point that they again threaten the field and equipment, the club will take appropriate measures to safeguard our property.

Our hope is that each member continues to remain safe and that this pandemic quickly comes to an end.  Until then, enjoy some extra time to build something for when we can all get together again at the field.

North Dallas RC Club

Welcome to the North Dallas RC Club

We are a club of radio-controlled aviation enthusiasts. Our club embraces all aspects of radio-controlled aviation. We have a diverse mix of members who enjoy gas, electric, scale, pattern, turbines, 3-D, helis and other aviation methods.

The North Dallas Radio Control Club (NDRCC) is an established club with decades of history. We’re an AMA  club, maintaining an excellent status not only in the RC community, but in getting our local community members involved in RC.

We’ve got a great flying facility located in Aubrey, Texas, just north of US 380. Membership in NDRCC is open to everybody, but you must be an active member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) before you can fly. More info on joining.
