The July 2022 meeting of the North Dallas RC Club occurred on July 20, 2022 at Prosper Town Hall.
President Josh Kleen called the meeting to order at 6:35 PM.
A motion was made, and seconded, to approve June meeting minutes as published. Approval passed
unanimously, by voice vote.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT — Josh Kleen:
It has been really hot, bring lots of water. Be careful about fire. There is a burn ban in effect. Any kind of
model , electric, gas, glow or turbine can start a fire. Our neighbors would not like us burning one of

Art reported the financial condition as of the end of June .
A motion was made, and seconded, to approve the financial report as presented by Art. Approval

MEMBERSHIP REPORT – Bruce Lakatos:
Bruce reports 134 members as of the date of the meeting. We have two youths and two senior new

The buffalo have been removed from the field to our South. There is a question as to what is going on in
We still owe the owner Kyle a water tank.
Art Wagner reports that two of our garage doors have come out of their tracts. Please close and lift the
door from the center to minimize this possibility.
The AED has been updated by Don Hafer.

TRAINING – Rich Phillips:
Two students have dropped out. One due to heat and one due to vision problems. Expect training
activity to pick up when the weather gets cooler.

No club events are scheduled in the near future.
Areo Tow is scheduled for this coming Saturday,
Float Fly is to be scheduled in October.
An informal jet day was discussed but no firm plans were made.

Dave Schafer showed pictures of a full scale Cessna 172 painted in an Air Force scheme. He plans to fly
to the Oshkosh event in this airplane.
